Top Seal

The Roof TOP SEAL®Preservation System is a unique water- proofing membrane designed to extend the life of virtually any new or existing roof substrate. Manufactured using 100% acrylic polymers, it forms a seamless, highly reflective, permanently flexible membrane that provides an effective barrier against the effects of normal aging and ultraviolet resistance, reflectance and weatherproofing. Together with associated primers, caulk, butter grade and reinforcing fabric, TOP TOP SEAL® Systems can be used over built-up, modified bitumen, single ply, concrete, metal, board-stock and composite shingle roof substrates.

Metal Roof Substrates

As metal roofs age they become more susceptible to corrosion, normally beginning at the seams and spreading throughout the panel. As gaskets degrade around the fasteners and came loose, allowing additional deflection between panels, leaks begin to occur. The TOP TOP SEAL® System includes primers for inhibiting the spread of rust, as well as several options for sealing fasteners and reinforcing seams.

Ultraviolet Resistance

The high volume solids of TOP TOP SEAL®, along with its high hide and vertical hold characteristics, allows for higher film build in fewer coats. This enables TOP TOP SEAL® to uniformly cover the uneven profile to textured substrates. The high ratio of 100% electrometric acrylic polymer to filler pigment provides long-term weathering and ultraviolet resistance

Lower Roof Temperatures

Highly reflective white pigments reflect up to 98% of the sun’s radiant heat, dramatically lowering the temperature of the underlying roof substrate and preventing further degradation.

Lower Interior Temperatures

Since most of the sun’s radiant heat is reflected rather than absorbed into the roof substrate, interior temperatures are reduced dramatically.

Top TOP SEAL® utilizes non-migratory fire retardants that become an integral and inseparable part of the coating to provide permanent fire retardancy.

No Water Leakage

TOP TOP SEAL® is manufactured exclusively utilizing 100% acrylic polymer resins it can resist the tough weather conditions resulting in no water leakage.

Application Versatility

The TOP TOP SEAL® System can be applied to virtually any new or existing roof substrate. The life of built-up, modified bitumen, metal, Hypalon, EPDM, concrete, sprayed-in-place polyurethane or board-stock insulation, and composite shingle roofs can all be extended dramatically with the application of Top TOP SEAL®.
